Green Technology
The Peaks at University Heights will be a pioneering model of sustainable community design in the Sea to Sky corridor. It will strive to preserve and enhance existing natural features and promote efficient use of resources. Included in this use of 'green technology' will be:
- Fire Smart neighbourhoods
- Pedestrian & cyclist friendly street and path networks
- An open space policy incorporated into the overall design
- Alternative storm water management facilities
- Architectural guidelines requiring the use of geothermal ground source systems to provide heating & air conditioning
Within this setting, The Peaks will offer an unparalleled quality of life.
